On Saturday, we accidentally discovered that Delia likes to dance while we were watching a video clip of Austin City Limits. The band was My Morning Jacket, one of Grady's favorites.
After we saw her moving around, we got out the camera. Of course, we were not sure if it was the music that she liked so much, so we paused the show. She obviously was into the music. WARNING: the first clip is quieter than the second two.
On Sunday, Daddy and Delia were home alone when she got a bit fussy. She just had a nap, so Dad tried the video. It took a few seconds, but the power of music won out. Of course, Dad could not help stopping the music again just to see her reaction.
Like a good little audience member, Delia claps at the end of her song. Then, she loses interest (and balance) completely when the band breaks into the following song...a much louder, faster tune. So, I guess she is just really into that one song, Golden. This just happens to be one of her parents' favorites. We even played a different version of Golden, and she was still enchanted. So far, we have not found another song that holds her attention so well.
We wonder how many other fans randomly fall over after a good My Morning Jacket concert.
As an aside, we do know that Delia's friend, Amelia, has a favorite song that affects her in a similar way.

It's awesome that y'all are MMJ fans. Espescially the little one. Please tell me that "Z" is her favorite record.
