Had our 20 week sonogram appointment this morning and without a doubt, it is a girl! She weighs 10 oz!
Grady says we can't go out to eat tonight because we are saving for the wedding.
Yippee! A girl!!

2 Big Bellies

Jennifer & Wes and Amanda & Danny came to visit this weekend! Danny made a stop at the Biker Rally at Sturgis South on Saturday and got to show off his new Harley. Amanda brought us 20 lbs. of fresh shrimp and we cooked some awesome shrimp and grits.
In this picture, I am 19 weeks, Jenn is 23 weeks. She is having a boy and has just started to feel her baby moving around. She says she is sure I am having twins because I am bigger than she is and twins run in my family AND there were actually 2 little butterbeans on my sonogram, but the nurse assured us one was a yolk sack that feeds the baby. We will see for sure at our next doctor's appointment, 1 week from today!
Happy Birthday to Gerald and Kirk today!

17 Weeks

"Your belly's bigger than it was yesterday!" -Grady
I am still feeling good, just tired most of the time. Everyone says my energy will come back, so I will keep waiting. I recently got a ton of cute maternity clothes (and bottles and binkys and other things that I don't know what to do with) from Amanda Stauble (thank you!!!!), delivered by Mama and Daddy when they visited Starkville weekend before last. And Amanda Wallace (Grady's mom) just brought me several brand new outfits that I can wear to work, including this cute red top. Yay! The only place I have been able to find maternity clothes in Starkville is at the Wal-Mart - and I have begun to enjoy trips to Wal-Mart because even though I am 4 months pregnant, I am not HALF as big as half the people in Wal-Mart! More good fortune: Grady's aunt and uncle are giving us their girls' barely used Pottery Barn nursery furniture set!! And Grady's mom wants to buy us a rocking chair or glider, so we won't have to buy any furniture at all! Yippee!!!
