Despite the flooding that we have had over the past week, Delia and I did get out for a little bit this weekend. Today I made the mistake of opening up her new car while she was awake. I did not realize that there was some assembly required: washers, axles, bolts - yuck!
Me: "Look Delia! It has a horn!" Delia: "Seriously, this is the worst car ever." (beep beep)
"Yay! That's more like it!"
This afternoon we met up with Carmen and Amelia at a pond near campus where there are a lot of ducks (and turtles and fish) that love white bread. Delia thought they were hilarious.
A duck says "Quack!"
"Delia, don't tell my mom, but I'm about to snag some of this bread."
"Hmm. Not as good as it looks."
