Weekend in Vicksburg

Delia and I went down to Vicksburg this weekend to celebrate Mama/Nana's birthday and to go to Kirk Gipson's wedding.

Friday night we went to one of our favorite restaurants in Vicksburg, Rusty's, with Aunt Peggy and Uncle Mac. Delia stayed up WAY past her bedtime and seemed to be really excited about it!

We spent Saturday morning with Delia's great-grandmothers and the afternoon with Grandma Amanda. Delia used her rattle to play Grandma Carlson's windchime/xylophone.

It made pretty music!

We saw a ton of Vicksburg friends at the wedding, including Amanda and Greg, who helped me partake of yummy wedding food while taking care of Delia.

All dressed up!

Our friends Alex and Alyssa came all the way from Brooklyn!

The wedding was at Cedar Grove and everything was so nice. Kirk and Marla looked like they were having an amazing time - they giggled through the whole ceremony! Seth Libby and his band played, and I absolutely love to listen to him sing. You can listen to his music here, and it's almost like being at the wedding!

Marla seems really fun. I can't wait to hang out with them and get to know her.

We left the wedding and went to celebrate Mama's birthday at Tony's restaurant. Again, Delia stayed up way past her bedtime and had a blast. Here she is at the hotel, playing with Grandaddy and Nana.

Time for bed party girl!
